Collaboration with Fonta Flora Brewery
We made an unspiced white ale, aged it for one year in stainless with Appalachian mixed culture that our pals from Fonta Flora, Hawt Tawd & Jer Bear, sent us from their hometown. We then soaked it on Fresh California Yuzu zest and bottle conditioned it with Local OC Honey. The result is a super refreshing white ale, that exercises restraint and focuses on nuance in ways that make us brewers happy.

This is a collaboration with Fonta Flora of North Carolina. Described as an Appalachian-style White Ale with fresh California yuzu and bottle conditioned with California honey." But no spice. Thoroughly drinkable and full of interesting flavors.
Hazy and very pale yellowish with plenty of foam in the Blanche de Chambly glass. The citrus taste is quite strong and lemony. Refreshing lack of bitter spice and other additives. Distinctly honey in the aftertaste. Interesting balance of tangy citrus and faintly sweet. From the 750 ml bottle purchased at the tasting room in Costa Mesa where it was brewed.
