grainy. sweet. nice.... almonds.... chocolate..... a tad bitter.
"An Imperial Dessert-Style Contemporary Super Stout w/ Toasted Almonds & Mexican Vanilla Beans - collab w/ @moksabrewing // Our pal Derek from Moksa flew down in August and he brewed up this huge stout at our Costa Mesa spot. Derek's well known for making some of the most flavorful and decadent stouts out there with all sorts of different flavorful (and expensive) ingredients added. They're insane. Anyway, this beer was inspired by a French almond and chocolate cake called Reine de Saba (which translates to the Queen Of Sheba). We toasted all the almonds ourselves and hand-cut all of them vanilla beans and kept adding them until the beer was right where we wanted it....INSANE! The roasted grains used, along with the vanilla, create a wonderful decadent chocolate flavor throughout, while the almonds take it right over the top to a delicious little place you may have heard of?....FLAVORTOWN! Ok, that's about it. Hope you dig it!"

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
