A West Coast DIPA w/ Mosaic & Ekuanot
This heavy hitter brings all the West Coast love ya need! Lovingly hop saturated from sniff to sip, with a clean snappy bitterness, a dab of resin in the linger, and a lightness of body that keeps this big one’s drinkability at a dangerously high level. Hops kick in with a flavor profile of fresh mandarin, sticky Maui Wowee, and some of that good ol’ fashion cotton-candy-pixie-dust that Connor Casey loves so much.

Another selection from the 23rd annual dipa fest. That was over 14 months ago, and yet, here I am, the first one to ever write such a review for this Next Glass owned database. One more time to kill the pain.
Pours standard beer yellow with pretty good clarity. 1/2" white head. Smells like notes of Citra, Columbus and maybe some HBC 586. Tangerine, weed, pine, rind, hay, fruity pebbles. The cool thing about predicting the hops based on the smell and taste is that they are all wrong. Mosaic and Eukanot I'm told.
Taste imparts a slightly sweeter than normal profile. Candied orange. Drive on. Good brisk mouthfeel, you can tell there is a bitter and boozy kick, but its not as much as it could or should be. Seems a little contained by that little hit of sweetener perception wise. Pretty neutral on the yeast, pale and two row maltings.
If you ain't lovin, then you ain't livin. This one won people's choice at the festival.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
