Our Seventh year West Coast IPA is a ride of yummo that hits hard from all angles… hops in the kettle (first wort, bittering, flameout, cool pool) and then the fermenter (Citra Dynaboost before fermentation, and dry hopped with a blend of Cryo, T90 pellets after fermentation). It’s a fruit salad in a glass! Think blueberry, grapefruit, and then like a mango orange smoothie thing, with all the textural bitterness that we love about this style. Dry, bitter, resinous, with a linger of the zestiest devil’s lettuce ya ever did have.
Brewed w/ Mosaic, Citra Cryo, HBC 586 & Citra Dynaboost.

Canned 6/20/24.
L: Pours a clear gold with a short but initially thick head that thins on top, lingers around the glass for a bit, then disappears. No lacing. Looks pretty flat by halftime.
S: Aromas of Juicy Fruit gum and mango.
T: Mixed berries up front, followed by tropical and stone fruit. Finishes with some grapefruit bitterness.
F: Medium mouthfeel. Medium to light carbonation.
O: A modern take on the WCIPA that works. A fruit-forward flavor profile that reveals its West Coast character at the bitter end. Tasty. Flat appearance, though.
