tasty beer, one of the better non stout types ive had from these guys, on tap at kahootz, all citra, which ive often opined is not amazing on its own but does better when paired with other hops, but it seems somewhat more versatile and complete spectrum here, and while this is modern and a little hazy and mostly dry hopped, its also got enough bitterness for a pale, which seems like a big ask of citra as its often used, so nicely done getting the most out of it here. very light in color and indeed very light in terms of grain profile. this beer has just a light crackery backbone without any sweetness. fortunately the citra does not demand much malt balance, and the lightness lets it express itself most fully. lemongrass and meyer lemon zest to it, not totally popping out of the glass or super dosed, but fresh to me, a little oily, and with the quick finish and cleaner ferment, they are brightest on the swallow, a cool place for them to climax in a beer like this. notes of white tea, apricot, and floral honey are wrapped up with the hops a little bit as it warms too, and while this is an easy going pint beer, it also does fine with spicy foods, queso, chips and salsa, that sort of thing, not overwhelmed at all there. solid stuff, nice to see these guys do something so fundamental at this level of execution.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Golden pour, light haze, thin creamy white head. Faint aroma of Malts and hops, very weak. Taste brings light sweetness, barely there citrusy notes. Very subtle, very drinkable.

Clear gold with a hefty off-white head; grassy hops mesh with some notes of fruit, citrus and a toasted malt profile...crisp malt, maybe the impression of wheat (not sure if this is brewed with wheat), touch of floral lemon, but overall seems soft and somewhat disjointed.

I'm wondering if my palate was off or if this was a can that got stored hot; overall this was not that pleasant for me and didn't taste 'right', which is what I've really expected from Bombastic.

Hazy. Smell is light and sweet and citrusy, with mango and pineapple and floral notes. Taste is similarly light and citrusy, with mango and pineapple and orange sweetness that becomes slightly bitter grapefruit, then bready malt and wheat on the finish. Floral and lemon notes throughout. Light carbonation, slightly dry finish, and a surprising warmth in the chest. Overall it’s nicely balanced, easy drinking, and generally delicious. Only critique is it’s a bit soft, though it could just be this can.

16 oz draft pour- Pours hazy straw golden with minimal head, leaving a rim of foam. Aroma is citrusy, orangs, mango, mostly clean with a light malt finish. The flavor is similar, with a moderate bitterness. Smooth and easy drinking.

On tap at Enoteca, first official release for this brewery. Pours hazy golden orange with some off white foam. Taste is lightly bitter, a tad dry, with citrusy hop flavors, a bit grainy. Aroma is citrus, orange creamsicle. Pretty tasty.
