Mouthfeel: Smooth and full-bodied, with a soft carbonation.
Overall Impression: A well-crafted treat that delivers on its promise. Peanut butter lovers will be especially pleased.

Many thx to muchloveforhops3 for this can!
A - Pitch black pour with light frothy toffee colored lacing.
S - Aroma is dominated by chocolate malt and some pungent peanut butter aroma.
T - Roasty malt base up front and then the peanut butter shows up at the scene for a nice balanced blend before ending with some chocolate malt bitterness. There is a little bit of astringency but it's not overbearing.
M - Medium body that's silky smooth and leaves some warming in the back of the throat.
O - A nice Stout right here with some booziness.

As I continue clearing out the cellar, I am trying a beer from when I worked across the street from the brewery. I wish I could have gone in and sampled other beers, but that is for another day. I am using a tulip glass and serving the beer at 48 degrees. The pour created a frothy, airy, two-fingered, light tan head with average retention. The quick dissipation left no lacing on the glass. The color is dark brown with rusty brown hues and semi-opaque. The appearance is average for this style. 4
Nosing the glass, I smell peanuts, caramel, dark Karo Syrup, medium dark chocolate, medium-roasted coffee, and some earthiness. Smelling the beer again, I also notice light toasted malt, a hint of char, malty sweetness, bready, light toffee, and leather. I am not detecting the marshmallows. The beer has this caramel, chocolate peanut dessert vibe.
The beer is not as sweet as I was anticipating. I initially tasted peanut butter, chocolate, medium-roasted coffee, leather, dirt, bready, dark corn syrup, and roasted malts. Sipping the glass again, I noticed light raisins, floral, toffee, char, vanilla, light smoke, and bready notes. I am not tasting the marshmallows. It does have a corn syrup note, but I do not quantify that as marshmallows.
The mouthfeel is smooth and chewy, finishing with a light bitterness. The body is heavy and has low carbonation.
This is a delightful dessert stout to sip on this chilly December night. I was hoping for a bit more depth in the beer. I wanted the Marshmallows to have more of a showing. It is a good beer overall.

Pours a chestnut tinged mahogany with a pinky of fast falling mocha colored head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: Cocoa, peanut butter in spades
T: Follows the nose, a touch of vanilla, seems like a peanut butter cookie, a little dry. Marshmallow become more prominent as this beer warms up, along with cocoa & peanut butter, fairly dry. Finishes a little dry, peanut hulls, sweet cookie notes & cocoa
MF: Medium body, vigorous carbonation, slightly over carbonated, the only real detractor, warming
Pretty good take on the style; nothing seems forced or artificial; drinks easy for the heft

Appearance: Pours coffee colored with a thin beige head that fades to a collar; speckles of lacing drizzle down
Smell: As the liquid warms, the peanut butter tones emerge alongside the vanilla and roasted malt flavors
Taste: Roasted malt and chocolate with the vanilla developing; through the middle and the finish, the peanut butter elements build
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Does a good job of mimicking the Fluffernut without being overly sweet
Thanks, JohnGalt1, for the opportunity

peanut, marshmallow, vanilla, a fun flavor combo in a big stout, which seems to be what these guys are most focused on, and receiving the most attention for. the base beer is nice here, this is deep dark brown, pretty dense and viscous, holds a little tan head on it, and seems pretty well refined, good shine to it. the nose is peanut forward, not quite natural though, not oily and earthy, more of the dusty, even chalky dry powdered peanut butter, which a lot of brewers are using, not cheap to me, but not actual peanuts or peanut butter either. the marshmallow and vanilla are welcome against some bitter roast and big black coffee notes, not too sweet overall, and pretty well dosed, they smooth out the peanut element well. the flavor is a nice combination of all these ingredients and a rather well done base beer, but the peanut aspect lingers long and really seems less and less authentic as this warms up. the booze is well hidden for what it is, the smoothness of the body is nice, and i dont mind this mid level of residual sugar in a beer like this. caramel with the peanut at the end, dark chocolate richness too, and light but natural vanilla on the linger, lots to like about this, but the peanut element could come down a bit in the mix and whatever ingredient it is seems kind of processed and distracting, but this is close to excellence and still much better than a lot of other peanut butter dark beers that exist out there...

A very much more malty and caramely imperial stout than the rest of this line.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass with a thin dark khaki head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, peanut butter, vanilla and mild cocoa. Flavor is dark toasted malt, mixed nuts, vanilla and bakers chocolate; light coffee astringency in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. This strikes me more like an imperial nut brown ale than a peanut butter stout. I get the peanut butter when I look for it, but would not have pinned down the exact type of nut without looking for it. Vanilla is solid and there is a little cocoa and some coffee in the finish. Still a solid nutty stoutish dark ale and quite flavorful. Bombastic is doing a great job with their big, dark ales.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Blackish pour, small creamy beige head. Aroma is peanut butter, and the taste is also PB. Marshmallow present in me mute quantities. Overall the brew is sweet with a tiny amount of bitterness. Creamy, full.
