Classic New England Hazy IPA built with copious additions of citra and mosaic hops, paired with the body of a soft fluffy cloud.

Look for bright sunny notes of pineapple, guava, lychee, mangosteen, tropical fruit, and jammy wild berries.

Generously dry-hopped, so drink fresh today as you contemplate Wisdom.

dont think we usually add vintages for beers like this, but i am glad someone did, they apparently change the hops on this at various times, it might have been citra and mosaic also though when i had it the first time many years ago, thats not the part of this that has changed, its the overall quality, so much brighter and more refined now, juicy without being harsh, fluffy without being heavy from the other grains, and just a way better beer than i recall this being, not even really recognizable from what it was, citra and mosaic called out on the can here. blonde straw colored, lighter than it used to be, and without all the density, this is bright and the haze is subtle and uniform, decent head on it too and enough carbonation, looks and feels way more refined, cleaner to drink as well, way less linger, gentle in the belly, i like it better already. the nose is juicy, without catty mosaic character its more citra to me, lemon curd and lemongrass, with maybe trace green melon and coconut to it, presents as quite fresh even though its been in my beer fridge a minute, nice and soft and not overdone, but mostly dry hopped it seems, real low bitterness to my senses. the flavor is excellent, the best parts of both of these hops, melon rind, canned pineapple, lemongrass, and fruity sativa weed without it being dank and oily, its actually real clean on the palate, a little grassy and faintly spicy late, nice movement here, carried by some starch from the grain, pillowy and long without being sweet, very mellow bitterness on the swallow, a lemony recall with a hint of coconut, easy as can be for its strength. its crazy how much better this is than it used to be, and probably rightly added as a new beer. wonder what will happen to these bombastic cans now that payette has moved production out of idaho, hope this one sticks around in its newly improved form!

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy yellow pour, one finger foamy white head. Faint citrusy aroma, grapefruit peel, bready malts. Taste is light citrus zest, grapefruit and orange with an abrupt finish.
