Frederiksberg 14/9 2022. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H. C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and fermented odor mingling with a subtle citric scent. Mango, peach and decay. Grapefruit and lemon. Sharp edge of alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone and a boozy streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Pretty light for a DIPA but the alcohol is lurking beneath the surface.
