Pours opaque dark brown with a small, frothy off-white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and dark odor mingling with a toasted scent. Toasted dark malts. Brown sugar and a subdued scent of lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Fairly potent and not too sweet. Not bad.
