Copenhagen 13/5 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. The Can is covered in small black and light brown cubes except for a yellow circle with the name of beer and brewery.
Pours unclear, dark amber with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles thi but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a restrained scent of smoke. Sweet caramel and toffee. Smoked ham and sausage. A little salty.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium ties with a strogsweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone and a salty touch. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
The nose is smoky heaven and the rest is oily and delicate.
