Copenhagen 18/6 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Colorful can with geometric forms in light blue, purple, red, pink and orange.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles lonely patch of foam floating in the center of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intensewith a sweet, roasted, malty odor mingling with a bitter sharp scent. Dark roasted malts, toffee, caramel. Bitter licorice and a touch of dark chocolate.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sour twist. Lingersfor a while. Finish is rather dry.
Light and surprisingly bitter. Does not seem to be especially troubled.
