Anvil is our first try at an American Light Lager - taking inspiration from some of our favorite breweries on the West Coast, and their crispy, hoppy light lagers. Brewed with the palest malt around, as well as corn for that extra lightness - and hopped generously with one of our favorite US hops - Mosaic in both 702, T90 & Cryo formats. The malt backbone on this one makes the beer super light in color & flavor, think a slight crackery note paired with corn flakes, but what really takes center stage is the Mosaic hops. We get loads of blueberry kush, grapefruit, tangerine, floral elements & a touch of tropical fruit.
This is a beer we will be quenching our thirst with all summer, and hey we might even pour it in red cups, or do a keg stand!

Copenhagen 31/5 2025. 44 cl can from N'Bro Kiosken, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Silver can trying to be as American as possible with a bald eagle, an American flag - and a Anvil.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin and patchy lyer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citric fumes. Sweet pale malts, corn, bread and a bit of white sugar. Citrus and lime.
Rather strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric tart bitterness. Lingers shortly. Finish is thin and lightly tart.
They are quite good at emulating - but they could find something a bit more interesting to imitate.
