Copenhagen 9/8 2020. 44 cl can from Væskebalancen, Vestergade, Århus. Stairs leading up to a shining door on the can. Makes me think of a pamphlet from some religious cult.
Pours hazy orange with a big, bubbly white head. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with medium strong sweet odor of exotic fruits mingling with intense citric notes. Pineapple and mango. A bit of caramel and bread from the malt. Grape fruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Finish is semi-dry.
Fairly intense for a Session IPA. Fresh, fruity and easy to drink.
