Had Long Berl at Brieux Carré taproom on draft into pint tulip.

Pours (apparently) absolutely black with (badly-poured) 2-finger-plus tan head, which eventually dissipates to a ring, leaving nicely etched Belgian lace. Big beautiful aroma of dark fruits, followed immediately by moderate chocolate. Begins mild hops and chocolate and toffee or caramel, with a bit of graininess, before a toasty malt finish, with the big ABV well hidden.

Big, black, aromatic, well-constructed (which I'm learning is a characteristic of long-boil stouts), toasted caramel candy bar imperial stout.
