-on draft served in Zed approved glass.
A: Thick creamy head starts things off atop a dark tarnished orange colored body of good clarity. Lacing was decent on the vessel. Moderate rise of micro-carbonation within.
S: The nose was sweet and spicy citrus and oranges. Light grassy-grapefruit hopping underneath, bright and sharp delivery of modest proportions. Light caramel base malts add some sweetness and toast factor.
T: Flavor was supported by a small caramel malting with some light hay and grain touches. Grassy hops of moderate bitterness support the toasted warmth along with some light dry hops of pine on the finish. Fresh grassy Amarillo hops and lightly dry citrus combine with a floral hopping, dried fruit, and lightly dry finish.
M: Light bodied, creamy and frothy hold that builds up. Nice carbonation and malt texture, lightly edgy.
O: Overall a nice bitterness factor, bright hops provide a good zing and nice level while maintaining balance. Cleanly brewed, good drinkability factor. Nice aromatics.
