Bado Brewing "Zed's On The West Coast V3 - IPA"

Notes: Version 3, same grain bill but different hops, this time Columbus and Simcoe. 78 IBUs. Clear amber body beneath a short head of white. Mildly hoppy and malty aroma - ? - surprising... not exactly a West coast IPA then, is it? The flavor follows and it's nicely balanced but I was expecting more hop flavor. Can you tell that it's Columbus and Simcoe? Ehhh, a little bit... the Simcoe comes through fairly well. Still, overall it's lacking as a "West Coast" IPA. Decent enough overall though. Medium leaning medium-light in body and gently crisp. Well made, just needs more finishing hops.
