Disorientation is a golden-colored Belgian-style Tripel.
Brewed with malts and hops from the European continent, Disorientation pays homage to the great brewing traditions of the Trappist monks. Belgian candi sugar and high-cropping yeast take this beer to new heights with elaborate ester flavors that compliment its malt sweetness.

on-tap at the brewery into a goblet
this is a dark tripel, almost a belgian dark. a very sugary beer, this could be either a plus or a minus in your book
decent stuff for the price

Had on tap. This is a fantastic tripel. Pours golden orangey brown with pretty white pacing. Wonderful fruit esters, belgian yeast, candi sugar, and good finishing spices in the nose. Taste similarly hits everything you want, but does so in a classic and boozy body, really bringing out the malts to meet all of the flavors from the smell. Feel is in the brighter side of the tripel spectrum, but certainly fits in with some of the tripels I had in belgium. Classical, clean, and delicious.

750 ml bottle. It is not often a Minnesota brewery ventures deep in the Belgian styles beyond saison. Clear golden color with a small head. Has nice vinous yeast esters in the aroma. Also plentiful malt. The flavor is sweet and the yeast is overpowered by the malt and sugar. What esters that are there does not quite meet par with the Belgian greats. Bit off in the finish. I would also say this is a tad undercarbonated. The body is full. A nice beer but definitely not up there with St. Bernardus, Westmalle ,Chimay, or even Unibroue.

Poured from 750ml bottle into glass. No dating information, but this was purchased during the summer of 2018.
Clear, medium amber colored body. Limited, frothy white head that recedes quickly. Small lacing spots slide back down into the body.
Aroma is subtle and exudes fruity esters. Some sweetness and spiciness come through.
Taste is some sweet candi sugar, fruity esters, and some dry yeast.
Medium mouth feel. Okay carbonation. Has a little bit of a dry finish.
Okay Tripel but not extremely expressive or complex. Also is missing a reliable head upon pouring.

With the quad, it was sort of lost in the mix. I preferred the American IPA.
