We brewed this copper-colored lager to welcome in the glorious season of Flannel (a.k.a. Autumn) and to celebrate the grand Oktoberfest tradition of Bavaria. This tasty marzen lager is light and refreshing, but it also has a lovely malt flavor to keep things interesting. Prost!

Pours a clear golden iced tea color with minimal head. Smell and taste has biscuit, malt, caramel, citrus hops, baked bread and rye spicy notes . Mouth feel is more bitter and hoppy than most for the style. A quite tasty fest bier here has nice toasty caramel notes in finish.

16oz pour at the brewery, one of my favorite spots around here
Darkish, nice cap of thick foam. Smells like fall. The taste is full of warm malt and a surprising amount of hop flavor and presence. Compared to your average marzen this is a hop bomb
Perfect for sipping on the patio in late October

Nice clean lager. Seems more of a lighter festbier than marzen. Ticks all the boxes with biscuit and toast aroma and flavor. A little bit more hoppy than usual with a strong herbal component. This year it is 5.2% ABV so it is even more drinkable. I am very happy drinking this beer.
