Pours a dark black into a tulip glass; minimal head. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate. Booze comes through in the taste. Good mouth feel. Sampled the Budding Roses, before being put into the bourbon barrels. Could definitely tell the difference between before and after the barrels. Very enjoyable, once a year brew.
