Pours a handsome bright yellow with long-lasting sticky foam. Frothy and spritzy on the tongue. Aroma of green melon and earthy leaf mold. Tastes of grapes and some dark nameless fruit with a woody touch. Bbitter pineapple finish. Some citrus pith but I wouldn't call it grapefruit.
Distinctly bitter aftertaste. Overall the flavor is on the simple side, though perfectly drinkable. Lush mouthfeel and attractive appearance encourage another gulp. From the 16 oz can purchased at the big box store. Canned on 8/23/21.

Had this on 2019-08-05 in Downey, CA from a 16oz canned on 2019-07-11
A - Somewhat hazy gold with short white head
S - Mildish. Citrus, grassy, onion.
T - Onion, grapefruit, grassy/herbal, toasted bread, aspirin, reasonably bitter. Has a unique, somewhat funky flavor.
M - Medium body and carbonation. Acerbic and dry.
O - Different. Glad to have tried it but wouldn't be a staple in my fridge.

16oz can poured into a tulip glass
=====
Look
Pours a rust bronze with medium clarity. Good carbonation activity and buildup.
Smell and Taste
I'm getting some flowery citrus. Earthy and herbal with spice notes. Tropical. Belgiany. It has a lingering phenol and citrus rind bitterness. Also smells earth and rustic.
Mouthfeel
A spritzer crisp, then a medium slick body.
=====
Look and feel were great, I thought. Smell and taste not so much. Not my favorite profile and balance for IPA. It was fun to try but I would easily pick other IPA’s over it.
