I don't see a date listed on the can.
Appearance: Brilliant clarity in a light gold body. The head is very large, white, and mostly smooth textured with a subtle ripple. Very good head retention in this beer. Tons of visible carbonation. Lacing is spotty.
Aroma: It smells like lemons and oatmeal. The overwhelming aroma is lemon.
Taste: Up front there is a tart lemon flavor. Towards the middle there is some faint cream of wheat. During various sips a distinctive blood orange flavor comes through, but the timing is not consistent. The finish has a sour orange flavor which is nice. A lime character rises at the end as well.
Mouthfeel: Tart up front, light bodied, with a dry finish that suits the beer.
Overall: A very enjoyable beer. At various parts of the can "BLOOD ORANGE" is mentioned, and it does make a noticeable appearance. This beer would work very well with an acidic pizza sauce or a lasagna. It would also go very well with a goat cheese. Overall I was impressed by the character of the beer; it felt well made. I would drink it again and I would recommend it.
