Shelburne Tap House

They’ve really upgraded this place over the years. Recently they took over the bagel place next door, greatly increasing the space and opening a big bar space.
Reasonable, but not great beer list. Usually a few good DIPAs.
Good food menu - for snacks, lunch, dinner.

What's nice about this little place is their immaculate lobster mac & cheese! For a landlocked state, not sure what this place does to have it made so damn good but to have that plate with a Queen City Yorkshire Porter is bomb in my book. Other beers they tend to keep on tap is usually from 14th Star, Frost Beer, Fiddlehead, Drop In, Idletyme, Stone Corral, and Otter Creek. This mom and pop restaurant tries their hardest to stick to Vermont breweries but sometimes get some Allagash, Ommegang and Maine Beer Company. They do have some BMC stuff, but they're trying to lean away from that, the last I heard. Prices are fairly reasonable. It's reasonable to take small children in too. Pretty clean and good service. When in Shelburne, it's either this or The Bearded Frog and I think they're only taking reservations these days. Only bad thing currently is their hours - they don't open til 3 pm every day, so no lunch here.
