Appearance - The beer poured a copper orange color with a white head.
Smell - Orange sweetness came through in the nose. It did not seem overly sweet.
Taste - This was an interesting beer. A sweet double IPA was sweetened with maple. It was not overly sweet, but actually well balanced. There was an overall orange undertone to the profile. The sweetness continued in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - It lacked the body to be really good, but it had some staying power.
Overall - This was the highlight of my visit to East Channel.
