Copenhagen 27/3 2016. 33 cl can brought home from Tenerife. Purchased at Coviran supermarket in Los Cristianos. Paranoid looking horse on the can looking quite uncomfortable by being figurehead for this supermarket beer.
Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is pretty bland and malty. Sweet pale malts, wet cardboard, bread and boredom.
Prickly carbonation and watery palate. Lively and tingling texture.
The most positive thing I can say about the flavor is that it is not overly sweet. The problem is that it does not taste of much. Only light sweetness and bitterness.
You could argue that a beer that does not taste of anything would be fine for food. But then again - so would a glass of water.

1000ml bottle. Lager glass. Golden color, clear appearance. White & brief froth. Floral, slight metallic, cooked corn & wet earth odors. Fizzy, grainy & sweeted at first sip. Light body. Medium to high carbonation. Spicy bitterness in the middle. Flat finish. Avoid !!
