Safe to say my initial excitement about this brewery has subsided. This stuff is thin, sickly sweet, and has a strange cinnamon sort of character that I think actually comes from too much vanilla. Very little of the roasty character I look for in a stout. Might have been more successful if billed as some sort of spiced/pastry stout or some shit. Currently searching the house for a better dark beer to cut this stuff with...
