Originally crafted as a loophole for drunken monks during the Lenten fasting season, this 'liquid bread' is also known as stark or strong beer.
German and American grains combine to deliver a full bodied, high ABV German style lager that will rock your socks off.
This may cause the urge to jump up and perform your lead air guitar routine to overwhelm you. Take a note from the monks and keep it classy.

L: brilliant copper amber permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 2" cream colored head with good retention
S: has that smell of rich malt, fresh bread crust, toast, traces of caramel and fruit and faint chocolate
T: Rich malt flavors are mildly sweet and have a hint of root beer, bread crust, light toast, bread crumb, and very low levels of fruit
F: full bodied beer with moderately low carbonation
O: you will enjoy the development of malt character in this well made, full bodied, malty doppelbock
