Alloy's first bottle offering! Pours very dark brown with a dense, dark-tan head, which recedes to a ring. Attractive lacing. Hints of chocolate and some mellow bourbon aroma. Flavors really blend...milk chocolate and a bit of roasted malt, bourbon is there but more in background, a touch of sweetness which softens the roast and barrel. Mouthfeel is medium, neither thin nor thick.
Tastes much like a rich European candy bar. Quality chocolate which is neither terribly sweet or bitter. A sipper mostly to soak in the flavors. I am very pleased...now on to the Rye BA variety.
