This is a very tasty brown ale. It has a big malty, roasty sweetish flavor with caramel, coffee, cream and chocolate....the wild rice brings in some walnut like nutty notes....a bit of a grassy impression on the finish.
Pours with a perfect light chocolate head from the growler. Medium brown color. Medium bodied...clean....I really like this a lot.
Would highly recommend this one. I thought I liked it a lot at the brewery but we made just a real quick stop on the way to meeting some people elsewhere for dinner and I was rushed drinking it so I got it in a growler and sure as shit it's as good as I thought it was if not better.
