Ruido Blanco is our first shot at a hazy IPA. Brewed with flaked oats and hop bursted/double dry hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Cascade. Embrace the haze!

Appearance: It develops a thin, half finger head that goes away quickly. The color is a dull, hazy yellow.
Smell: Very faint, almost non existent. A whiff of floral and pine resin-y hops and that's it.
Taste: The hops are a bit more noticeable in the palate than on the nose. There's slight hints of orange and grapefruit peels and some fresh citrus fruit but that's it. Far from the big hop presence that a double dry hopped beer should have.
Mouthfeel: It's smooth with medium high carbonation but lacks the creaminess and fuller body that's a staple of the style.
Overall: An underwhelming beer that fails to deliver on the signature cues of the New England-style IPA or "hazy IPA": The big, hoppy punch (especially considering this is supposedly double dry hopped) and the creamy mouthfeel. Be it because of poor hop selection or some fault in the brewing process, the end result is not good. This definitely needs some work.
