Presentation: Draft, served in a pint glass.
Appearance: The tan, one finger head dissolves into a thin foam layer and leaves some good lacing that covers the entire glass. Its a pure black color.
Smell: There's dark chocolate, coffee and raisins with a hint of oatmeal and cinnamon in the background.
Taste: It starts off with some darker flavors of roasted coffee beans, roasted malt, and dark chocolate. Then there's a brown sugar and molasses sweetness in there as well.
Mouthfeel: It feels lighter than it should be. It's a bit creamy but medium to light bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall: The aroma and flavors are great but it's lacking in body a bit. It's a minor setback though, this is still a very good beer.
