Presentation: 32 oz. crowler, served in a pint glass.
Appearance: The two finger, tan colored head stays around for a while and leaves behind some lacing in small spots. Its basically black, with some dark brown showing up when held up to light.
Smell: There's milk chocolate with a hint of coffee towards the end and that's pretty much it.
Taste: It's very milky and chocolatey, just as advertised. There's a sweet, chocolate milk note right away followed by some darker flavors right after of cocoa powder and roasted malt to bring some balance.
Mouthfeel: Its moderately smooth and medium bodied with a sharp, medium high carbonation crispness in there as well.
Overall: Described as a "chocolatina (milk chocolate in Spanish) stout", it definitely delivers on that end. The flavor profile is there but it could use a tad more thickness and creaminess to stay true to the style.
