Presentation: 32 oz. crowler with the canning date written on the label. Served in a pint glass.
Appearance: The one finger, bright white head stays around for a bit and leaves behind a foam layer and a lot of patchy lacing all over. It's a beautiful, bright gold color.
Smell: It's a rich, beautiful aroma of lemon peel, coriander and hay.
Taste: The soft, fruity orange and lemon zest hit the palate right away. That's followed by some herbal notes right after and a slightly funky, damp straw note. It finishes with a spicy, white pepper tingle on the tongue as it goes down. Pretty much a mirror image of the nose but everything's a bit amplified and more defined.
Mouthfeel: It's silky smooth, medium bodied and quite creamy with medium carbonation.
Overall: A classic tripel with a little bit more fruit on the palate probably because of the hop selection. It's easy to drink and very enjoyable.
