Parkdale Beer Festival Beer #6. Thanks Nick! Review from notes. Listed as a sour beer (that's an IPA) with pineapple, lemon, vanilla, ginger.
Appearance - Hazy, pale golden color. Respectable head and good retention.
Smell - Pineapple, lemon and ginger mostly, went together like a dream.
Taste - Same as the nose with some vanilla sweetness backing things up. Really tasty and no way to detect he near % ABV here.
Mouthfeel - Smooth, medium bodied, ABV super well hidden. Carbonation is just about right and drinks like a 4.8% ABV beer not 7.8%.
Overall - Drinkability is quite high given the ABV, taste is really good, bold, intense and diverse and there's nothing to complain about. The winner of the Festival for me besides the Foeder 201 Rodenbach 2016 Vintage Ale. (which I brought and enjoyed thoroughly)
