500 ml from the brewery taproom in Hamilton. I am not a big sour fan but.... This version includes blueberry and ginger.
Pours a deep, thick purple-blue with finger of foamy grape head.
Aroma fruity - berry, slightly acetic, lemon, and hints of ginger.
Taste follows - though slightly tart with just a hint of vinegar in back, the lactose sweetness helps make this tastes like blueberry lemonade - the ginger is there adding a nice little snap.
Full thick, fruity mouthfeel, finishing with a tart berry kick.
