On tap at Beertown Burlington on Fairweather takeover day. Served into a pint glass. American IPA with Sauvignon Blanc. Review from notes.
Appearance - Typoical, hazy pale golden color with lots of lacing and a good sized white head and medium retention. Some lacing clings to the edges of the glass for a goodly while.
Smell - Grapes and citrus mostly, overall rather diluted.
Taste - Same as the nose, more grapes and some bioozy burn. Decent citrus kick of lemon and grapefruit and melon at the end.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, dry finish, good crisp carbonation. A little more sticky at times than expected.
Overall - Solid and interesting IPA, but one I wouldn't return to.
