On tap at the Mule in Hamilton. Review from notes.
Appearance - Pale golden straw color with some yellowy overtones. Mildly hazy.
Smell - A bit weedy with a subdued nose. Some bits of citrus mixed in.
Taste - Rather bitter, a bit of the bitter for the sake of being bitter as any weediness or fruitiness is weeded (pun intended) out.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation, a touch flat, still crisp enough to enjoy.
Overall - A solid enough IPA, but one of the weaker efforts from Fairweather in my opinion. Would love to revisit a fresh can for comparisons sake.
