from the bottle. poured a muddy brown, with no head. aroma, honey, caramels, raisins, wine, malts, grapes, apples, prunes. flavor sweet chocolate, honey, malts, nutty, hops, cherries, watery. at 1st I didn’t think this was anything special but than as it warmed I started to enjoy it moreand since the last post was sept. 2003 I think I got a old bottle, still not bad

Deep Red color, large white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Deep roasted malt flavor with a nice malt sweetness. Full flavored. Rich round smooth mouthfeel. Good balance. Excellent beer. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is malty, very slightly sweet.
