L: Poured from a 16oz can into a snifter - Jet black pour with 3 fingers length of a head risen to the surface. No lacing left behind as it dissolves into liquid form.
S: Getting mainly aromas of malt, molasses, faint hint of berry. No signs of chocolate whatsoever in this beer. As the beer sits I can get more aromas of the blackberry, the monk fruit. Again no signs of chocolate.
T: Getting a light blackberry taste that mainly takes over and becomes more predominant as the beer goes down. Slight chocolate if any in this. Can also taste the monk fruit as describes was added in this. Not sure how I feel about this one right now.
F: Medium bodied, easy to drink. Better body than I expected. ABV hides very well for what this is.
O: I didn't expect much since I know using sugar substitutes can be a hit or miss for any drink in general but adding it to a beer I don't think was a great decision. This beer isn't to great for me due to the lack of chocolate and the faint hint of blackberry in this. It has a taste of a diet seltzer - which to me just means your trying to catch a buz, when I'm buying the beer for the flavor and experience. I wouldn't recommend this beer to anyone.
