Had on tap at bar in Savannah across from the Hyatt off River Street, Nov 2018

First, I did not enjoy this beer at all. It tastes like a Sauvignon blanc wine mixed with an ipa - which doesn’t match the amber appearance at all. I will say this beer seems well made and likely what the brewer intended. Just not a flavor profile I enjoy.

Blanc-y Kong, a "white IPA" that rhymes with a certain ape. Lemon drop, denali, Citra, according t the can born 7/14. Pours a hazy amber, fluffy white head, sheet of lace trails partway down the glass. Smell: papaya, lime-ish, mango-ish, grassy, honey wheat bread back. Taste: papaya, wheat cracker into pineapple upside down cake, lime, grass, candied lemon. Sugary, messy finish. Hmm, I thought that NE IPA put "white IPA" out of business, but maybe news travels slowly. Pretty good.
