Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a Rastal Harmony glass.
Appearance: The one finger head stays for a while and leaves a lot of lacing in webs and rings all over the glass. It's a a hazy, dark red-orange color.
Smell: It's a sweet and fruity smell of guava and blackberries with some grainy wheat.
Taste: There's a strong sour fruitiness at the beginning with blackberry and guava notes. A distinct spiciness lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: It's medium bodied and quite smooth but with some crispness from the medium-high carbonation.
Overall: The sweet fruitiness and tartness play well with each other and it results in a quite complex and interesting spectrum of flavors on the palate. That said, it doesn't sacrifice drinkability and refreshment to achieve that which is great.
