Appearance. Mauve colored cloudy body with an excellent head.
This new "smoothie sour" is reportedly made with 800 lbs of fruit including both cherries and plums. This compares with about 100 lbs of fruit in the original Swamp Thing. The result is a Berliner Weisse that's very fruity and complex. Despite a markedly sweet aroma this is about moderately tart for the style. Nearly full bodied with lively, medium carbonation.
