Large very bubbly fizzy head hits a finger plus and fades at a med pace, some sticky lacing, dark mahogany brown color hint of light.
Nose plenty of toasted brown malts, some caramel and sweetness, hint of toffee and brown sugar notes, bit yeasty
Taste brings plenty of sweet but a bit syrupy brown malts, brown sugar, toffee and caramel all add their sweetness, a creamy base malt as well, a little bready yeasty thing, biscuity in the background, just a touch hop bitterness, hard to get past the crazy carbonation. Finish is drier a touch sweet still, hint of alcohol and lingering brown malts.
Mouth is med bod a touch creamy and loads of carbonation, very distracting carbonation.
Overall not bad, the base malts are pretty nice, not much hop but that's fine, a bit on the too sweet side for my tastes... but the big issue is the carbonation, the two bottles I've had from them were way overcarbonated, very distracting, fermented a bit too much in the bottle I think as I also get a little yeasty flavor.
