Picked up at the brewery a few weeks ago, bottled 2/14/18
A bit over carbonated, quickly rising dark fizzy bubbly 3 finger head fades very slowly, decent lacing, pitch black beer
Nose tons of vanilla, little dark chocolate cocoa, roasted malt, mild coffee roast, sweet malt and lactose milk, sweet creme Brule and vanilla fudge
Taste starts super sweet thick, candy syrupy little tangy yeasty, little fudgey choc and roast, some vanilla, big spicy chewy hops quite bitter and distracting, under attenuated for sure and it has a ways to go, burnt milk sugar, creme Brule, burnt coffee, finishes sweet and super spicy chewy bitter hops, and yeasty almost undrinkable by the finish alone
Mouth is smooth yet med bodied and thicker syrupy feeling, low carbonation since it all foamed out, at least only a little alcohol warmth
Overall started ok, but big flaws that need to be fixed
