Pours a large fizzy tan head with med retention, lots of big bubbles, a little lacing, dark maroon brown with a little light coming through
Nose is very fruity, and not just the typical malt derived fruit of a doppelbock, there's a ton of apple cider in there, a little vegetative note, apple sauce, etc, no real malt either
Taste has a little malt character but it's a little like a straw corn vegetal malt extract thing, a bit of malt derived fruit esters like fig date, but again more apple cider and apple sauce, med hop bitterness and mild spicy hop flavor, finishes a bit sticky and more bitterness and apple sauce
Mouth is med bod, a touch syrupy, again way too much carbonation as it seems to have fermented too much in the can
Overall another bad beer... they def need to work on consistency issues and general brewing practices... sorry guys but needed to be said.
