From a 16 oz tall boy purchased at the beer hall, into my Great Divide cervoise glass. Light clear copper color, and a 2 finger head that subsides more quickly than I expected. Nose is warm wheat bread, with some earthy warm spice and some grassy hops. Taste amplifies the nose…just a warm and full and bready taste profile. Just a little honeyed sweetness at the very end, but not much. Low carb for the style, and very smooth, though a bit heavy. It really sits on the tongue. Heavier than most fest beers I’ve had, but it is delicious.

16 oz can. One week old. White head. Dark golden color.
Kind of strong for a fest beer, but it’s like your in Munich. Bread and honey crackers, malty, toffee, touch of nuttiness. Grassy, spicy hops. Smooth and easy drinking.

On tap at Town Hall Brewery. Look: gold, minimal head. Aroma: toast, baking bread, some spicy hops. All nice, but mild. Taste: much more pronounced. Bread in the oven, fresh toast, caramels still in the package, light spicy hops. Feel: medium bodied, dryish for the style, fine carbonation. Comments: it's nice to see a Minnesota brewery making an Oktoberfest as opposed to a Marzen. And it is a good one at that. Very drinkable, yet leaves you thinking of the season.
