This very light easy drinking beer was aged on chilies for a time imparting a soft nose of garden peppers, the beer is uniquely delicious with moderate heat and a clean finish.

Shared at the Green Bay tasting by LesDewitt4beer into taster glass from a 16 ounce can/crowler. Pours lightly hazy golden yellow color with a small off white head with good retention and spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of clean green chili pepper, grapefruit, citrus peel, peppercorn, pine, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass. Medium pine herbal bitter spicy pepper finish. Medium carbonation and body. Balanced bready grainy malt and sticky resinous hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin dryness and minimal hop astringency. Lingering pepper heat. Very drinkable. Great jalapeƱo Ipa.

Chili Pepper Ale pours a clean bronze color, with a smallish, lacing head. The aroma is of smoked and spicy peppers. The flavor has a hint of smoke, but big spicy pepper notes. Good feel, with some head.

Draft at Hoops Brewing. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of chili heat, caramel and toffee. Nice spicy pepper heat but not overpowering. Good caramel backbone for balance.

On tap at the brewery and crowlers 6/14/24 into a nonic pint glass.
L: SRM 3-4 Pours clear gold caramel color with a thin eggshell white head that recedes to a thick creamy skin, excellent firm steady carbonation, light scattered lacing.
S: A vinous chili note, peppery grains, generally a clean aroma.
T: Vinous green chili, grains, a note of caramelized malts, gentle background sweetness.
F: Crisp and brisk medium-light bodied feel with a medium length soft base beer finish and a long pepper heat finish. Overall a smooth, dry finish.
O: Great feel, lovely taste, the heat is under control and still delivers without kidnapping all the beer taste. Supreme balance. It finishes lightly dry and clean. It is simple and is outstanding in its style.
