Really enjoyed the Wee Knobby Rye so here we are. 750ML bottle 72/800 split with my wife.
Air barely stirs upon removing the cap & the beer pours a dull, lifeless rust with booze almost spraying off the surface in olfactory waves. Yikes.
Wee Walker Black doesn't appear to even share a strand of DNA with Wee Knobby. This is straight grain alcohol - boozy, flat, with perhaps a touch of caramel to justify the beer style. A sample would have been fine.
I could drink this, but I'm not really interested. This is only beer in the loosest sense of the word. This is a bad beer & I'm now 1/3 on this brewery & won't spend money on them until they show improvement (& I put it in my mouth for free).
