Pours a redish color. Less than a 1 fonger off white head. The head retention is very poor. No lacing on the glass.
The aroma is fairly weak. There's a bit of malt here, but not much else.
There's a lot more flavor than the nose let on. There's a nice deep rich malt here. There's a hint of smoke going on, which seems to hit more on the back.
Crisp feel. Decent body.
This is a decent Oktoberfest. Good, and tasty.
