12oz bottle. No dating information found. Label describes this as 'Lichtenhainer Style (Smoked Sour Ale)'.
Partly cloudy, straw colored body. Brief fizzy head settles back to a partial cap. Leaves behind some partial rings of lacing.
Aroma is mostly bacon smoke, with a lighter touch of lemon citrus.
Taste follows the nose. Smoked bacon and a later entry of lemon. Not sour nor tart. Kind of like a smoked saison.
Medium mouth feel. Yeast dryness. Good carbonation.
No bold expressions of smell or flavors but does deliver on the label description.

I did an aggressive pour here. Semi murky golden pour with a thick white head. There is some lacing as the head dissipates.
Aroma has a pleasing smoked malt aroma with a hint of lemon.
Smoke hits in a pleasing way here up front. Slight hint of lemon hits on the backside. It's a strange sounding combination, but it works.
The body is quite good. Not watery at all, and seems pretty thick for the low ABV.
It sounds strange, but this works so well.
