Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Dark brown colored body. Creamy light tan colored head. Leaves behind torn sheets of lacing.
Aroma of roasted malts and a little caramel.
Taste is sweet with a roasted malt graininess. Flavors of caramel, black cherry, a bit of char, and a touch of black licorice. Mellow roasted grain taste in the aftertaste.
A little more than medium mouthfeel. Creamy and mouth coating. A bit chalky. Very good carbonation.
Dark beer with lots of flavor for its ABV%.
